Fresh Fire

It is by the grace of our God that each of us have stepped into the year 2024. This is the year of God’s visitation.  We must not miss it. We must remove the past ashes of the by gone year no matter what the year presented and what your ashes were. This is a clarion call to make fresh fire for the new year and new season that God by His grace and favour has launched us into: the new year of His favour.

“Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.”

Starting or making fresh fire is a divine call as relating to our personal sacrifices for the kingdom of our God. In Leviticus 6:12 the word of God states “…the fire on the altar must be kept burning – it must not go out. The priest shall put on wood each morning, and lay the daily burnt offering on it and burn the fat of the daily peace offering. The fire must be kept burning upon the altar continually. It must never go out” –(LB).

There is a demand for the fire of God’s zeal to be kindled in our hearts this new year. There is also a demand for us to walk and work in the light of that fire till the year ends. This is imperative because “once you, a servant of God loses this fire within your bosom, you will become lethargic and as heavy as lead, you will lose your carriage and momentum. You will also settle unto a routine or…” maintenance ministry”-struggling to keep forms and facilities…when this fire is not fresh any longer on a man’s heart all that remains with him is ashes of past burning. He becomes history in his in own lifetime.” (For further studies on this matter of fresh fire see the book titled “The Price, Plight And Perils Of The Anointed” by Gbile Akanni 2017 published by the Peace House Publishing Team)

You need to kindle the fire of your personal evangelism afresh. Kindle the fire of your personal altar afresh. Kindle the fire of visitation, the fire of giving and all that the Holy Spirit would enable you must be kindled afresh. There is no time to lose. In the days of His power, His people shall be willing. We are in the days of God’s power. Let the fire of the zeal of God be once again kindled in our hearts to keep us moving in this unstoppable move of God.
